Floorscape imports the Quick·Step ®, LOC Floor ® and Aqua·Step ® brands of laminate flooring, all featuring Uniclic ® and manufactured to the highest levels of quality in Belgium by Unilin N.V. – the inventor and owner of the Uniclic ® patents. AquaStep is manufactured by the highly regarded Parcolys NV - also in Belgium.

Patented Uniclic Flooring
Floorscape markets wooden flooring and laminate flooring that uses the industry leading ‘Uniclic’ glue-less board locking system that is the best system available anywhere in the world.
Uniclic ® is a heavily patented system that has many advantages over any other glue-less system available on the market. Our laminate flooring and wooden flooring all feature Uniclic ®. Expect to pay more for a Uniclic floor - the licence rights to use this fabulous Patented System are the most expensive of all glueless locking systems.
UNICLIC Advantages
The main advantages of UNICLIC are -
- Floorboards can be engaged on long and short sides whilst lying flat on the floor - this means that they do not have to 'rotate' down on an angle - this means that installing in and around skirting boards, door frames and kithcen cabinetry is a breeze.
- This also means that if you 'undercut' skirting boards, THERE IS NO NEED TO REMOVE SKIRTING BOARDS and no need for unsightly beading and finishing trims around the perimter of the room.
- Installation is FASTER than installing other glueless locking system.
- INDIVIDUAL BOARDS CAN BE REPLACED MID FLOOR without uplifting the entire floor, and without 'peeling the floor back' from the nearest wall. This is a BIG saving should the floor ever need to be repaired.
WARNING - TIP - Many importers like to say that their laminate floors are 'Licenced by Unilin' - this does NOT mean they are UNICLIC. This means that Unilin (Inventors and Patent holders of UNICLIC) have licenced them use a similar locking system to UNICLIC, but unless the UNICLIC logo is on the box, IT IS NOT UNICLIC.
